Job Description

Part-time (will transition to full-time if desired)

Fully remote, flexible schedule

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required
– 1 year prior experience in a general customer service position
– Knowledge of health insurance medical billing policies and procedures required
– Consistent access to a desktop computer or laptop and smartphone, and constant, reliable WiFi connection

Responsibilities:
– Schedule and reschedule patient appointments
– Sending, receiving, and organizing intake documents via electronic agreement software, email, and telephone communications
– Guide therapists through onboarding process via virtual video appointment
– Perform new patient onboarding protocols unique to each therapist-client
– Work productively with a virtual team, transferring tasks to other Empathy Admin departments, as needed
– Perform miscellaneous personal assistance tasks for therapists
– Use technology skills and internet resources to research completion of unfamiliar tasks
